Many had pegged Trey Canard as the man to beat. He clearly has, or is very near, the speed necessary to run the winner's pace, and being used to the Texas heat and all (since he's from Oklahoma), that just might make the difference. Well, it wasn't really all that hot this weekend, and a crash early while leading the first moto sure didn't help matters. However, Ice Trey still pulled off a podium finish via a 3-2.
